Want to participate in a Community Outreach/Charity project but don’t currently have the time to volunteer or spend additional finances? Here’s the perfect opportunity to help Pagosa’s kids and be part of a simple means of giving, whether you have children in the schools or not.
Brand names such as Pillsbury, Green Giant, Ziploc, Ortega, Betty Crocker, Cottonelle, Scott, Hefty, Cascadian Farms, General Mills, Curves and many more have included on many of their product lines a coupon (see above) that can be clipped out. Each coupon is worth 10¢ toward school supplies. Each school that is signed up for this program (such as our elementary school) can receive up to $20,000.00 for educational supplies per year!
This simple idea is one that will not cost you a single additional cent to your normal grocery shopping. It takes a few seconds to cut them out and then drop them in the collection container on Sunday. It is also a great way to teach your kids to take part in community outreach and charity! For your convenience, there is a print out of the products that have the coupons on them next to the plastic bear collection container on the entry table.
You probably already have many at home that you can start cutting out. Please take a few seconds this week to see what you can bring in this Sunday.
